Birelart presents the Barrichello racing line

The new Barrichello by Birelart range makes its official debut, combining Birelart technology and tradition with Rubens Barrichello's well-known passion for karting.

Passion and innovation are two key words that have united the Lissone-based company and the former Brazilian F1 driver for this new project. The latest Birelart brand joins other successful brands linked to drivers such as Robert Kubica, Daniel Ricciardo and Charles Leclerc.

At the recent Rotax Grand Final in Bahrain last December, the Barrichello brand actually made its debut on the track, equipping the entire DD2 Masters category. Rubens himself took part in the race, proving himself, as always, to be one of the most competitive drivers on the track. The relationship between Birelart and the Brazilian driver now has historical roots, thanks in part to Barrichello's participation in major karting events in the Rotax world and beyond. One notable example is the 2016 FIA Karting World Championship KZ in Kristianstad, where Rubens competed with Birelart from qualifying to the final.

The Barrichello by Birelart range will cover all categories with a range for the OK (RB 30/32 S19 DD), KZ (RB 30/32 S19 SH) and Mini Kart (RB 28 S19) classes.

The brand will be highly recognisable, with livery based on the design of Rubens Barrichello's historic helmet – bright orange and metallic blue combined with white, creating an immediate impression of freshness and speed on track. All this is obviously based on the reliability of the materials and Birelart technology of the new S19 chassis.
