Birelart chassis conclude the Las Vegas Supernationals with a victory in KA100 Senior and a podium finish in Pro Shifter
Positive American weekend in Las Vegas for Birelart during the SKUSA Supernationals, with victory for Diego Ramos (PSL) and second place for Pedro Hiltbrand.
It was a weekend that was, as always, special and American-style for the Racing Team, which once again distinguished itself in the various categories of the stars and stripes scene.
Diego Ramos achieved an important victory in the KA100 Senior class, where the Brazilian driver from the PSL Karting team, completed an uncertain and exciting race right up to the end. Ramos made a solid recovery to attack the first position and fight until the last lap of the race, eventually winning in a photo finish. His success was initially cancelled by a penalty, which was later overturned as it was deemed incorrect. In addition to his official victory in the KA100 Senior class, Ramos and the Birelart chassis also distinguished themselves in the Pro X30 Senior class, where Ramos was once again able to fight for victory, narrowly missing out on a double podium in both categories.
In the Pro Shifter class, Pedro Hiltbrand once again finished on the podium at the SKUSA Supernationals with second place overall. The weekend did not start easily for the Spaniard, but he did well to maximise each heat and recover positions. The start of the final was one of the key moments of the race, where Hiltbrand immediately recovered from ninth position to fight for the podium. Fast laps and great race pace then allowed the Birelart driver to take the lead and fight for victory, finishing in second place. Worth noting is Cristian Bertuca's impressive recovery of seventeen positions, among the best of the weekend with two fast laps during the heats, a third and a fourth place. Sixth place for the Birelart driver in the final, after being forced to start from twenty-third position due to a penalty in the first heat (which he finished in second place), also thanks to his race pace and overtaking manoeuvres, which are never easy on the Las Vegas circuit. Speck finished thirteenth, improving steadily throughout the event, while Riccardo Longhi finished fifteenth after being the best Birelart driver until Sunday's Main Event, starting from fourth on the grid. A collision at the start forced Longhi to restart from the back of the field, but he still managed to recover, highlighting the great potential that would have seen him fight for a podium position. Sjoberg also showed great improvement in his first American experience with Birelart, while Urwin was forced to retire due to a collision caused by an opponent. Up to that point, the Birelart driver, in the wake of Hiltbrand, had recovered from tenth to third position.
Birelart chassis also took the podium in the Micro Swift class with Samuel Chaverri (PSL) finishing in an excellent second place, and second place also in the Master Shifter class with Jordon Musser (PSL).
The Birelart Racing Team will be back on track this weekend for the third and final round of the 2025 WSK Final Cup in Lonato, which will conclude the season.
